This microscope is in excellent condition with very minor scuffs/blemishes from normal use and storage. We have fully tested this microscope and found it to be in excellent working condition. All of the dials and knobs function perfectly and smoothly, they are not gummy or sticky at all. This is an excellent microscope for anybody needing a nice microscope.
