These Clampco Marine-Grade T-Bolt Band Clamps are made of 316 stainless steel. T-bolt band clamps made of 316 steel will resist corrosion better than standard 301, 302, and 304 T-bolt band clamps. The fact that 316 stainless steel performs well in saltwater means that 316 T-bolt band clamps find common use on marine engines and exhaust systems. Water treatment and sewage systems, pool fittings, telecommunication devices, and food and pharmaceutical processing equipment are other typical applications.
