Campbell Scientific

Campbell Scientific Dataloggers, Sensors and Weather Station Equipment

Brothers Eric and Evan Campbell founded Campbell Scientific in Logan, Utah, in 1974. The company introduced the CR10 Measurement and Control Module in 1987, and its instruments are known for dependability in harsh, remote environments.

The CR10X, an upgrade of the CR10, arrived in 1995 as Campbell's first datalogger built with surface-mount technology.

Campbell Scientific makes data loggers, along with sensors and devices for collecting, storing, communicating and retrieving data, and LoggerNet software for managing monitoring networks. Its equipment is used in weather and environmental monitoring, research, solar, wind and geothermal energy, geotechnical monitoring and water sampling. Field stations built around older Campbell loggers often stay in service for years, so modules, displays and accessories for earlier models stay in demand.
