Weatherhead Hydraulic Hose, Hose Fittings and Crimp Equipment
Albert J. Weatherhead Jr. founded Weatherhead in Cleveland in 1919, in a shop at 706 Frankfort Street making radiator drain cocks and priming cups for automobiles. Dana Corporation bought Weatherhead in 1977. Eaton purchased the Boston Weatherhead business from Dana in November 2002. Danfoss bought Eaton's hydraulics business in 2021 and sells the line today as Weatherhead by Danfoss.
Weatherhead by Danfoss makes rubber hydraulic hose, crimp hose fittings and field attachable fittings, along with crimp and hose-prep machines. Coll-O-Crimp is one of its crimp hose fitting lines. Hose ends are matched by hose size, thread type and seal style, so the fitting's part number is what a replacement is ordered by.
