Wahl Heat-Prober Thermometers, Temperature Probes and Thermal Imagers
Wahl Instruments was founded in 1953 as a maker of temperature measurement instruments and was originally based in Culver City, California. Palmer Instruments, which traces its start to Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1836, acquired Wahl in 1997, and the combined Palmer Wahl operation is based in Asheville, North Carolina. Heat-Prober is Wahl's line of handheld meters and probes.
Under Palmer Wahl, the Wahl lines include Heat-Prober handheld meters and probes, Heat Spy thermal imaging cameras and Temp-Plate temperature sensitive labels, alongside Palmer's industrial thermometers, temperature sensors and pressure gauges. A thermocouple probe reads correctly only on a meter set up for the same thermocouple type, so match the probe's type to the meter.
