Ready to ship from our Idaho warehouse the same or next business day. Selling online since 1999.

Product Overview

A touch-trigger probe sends a signal the moment its stylus deflects against a part, which is how a manual coordinate measuring machine (CMM) takes its points. The TP1(S) is a robust shank-mounted probe suited to manual CMMs. It takes M3 styli directly, and its trigger force is set with an adjustment screw and a 2.5 mm AF hex key.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are a probe cable or manual included?

Not included.

What stylus thread does it take?

M3. Styli with an M3 thread mount directly to the probe.

Is this probe sold untested?

Yes. The original cable is not included, so it has not been tested, and it shows minor scuffs and scratches from use and storage. You get the TP1(S) probe in its fitted case, as photographed, and you take on proving it with your own cable and CMM interface. Flat-rate shipping in the lower 48, and orders over the free-shipping line ship free.

The plate in the lid still lists a telex number for Wotton-under-Edge. Connect your own cable and let your CMM report how the trigger behaves.
