Agilent

Agilent Liquid and Gas Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry and Spectroscopy Instruments

Agilent Technologies was created in 1999 as a spin-off of several Hewlett-Packard business units and is headquartered in Santa Clara, California. Its electronic test business separated as Keysight Technologies on November 1, 2014, leaving Agilent focused on life sciences, diagnostics and chemical analysis.

Agilent makes instruments, software, services and consumables for laboratory use. Its platforms take in gas and liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry and spectroscopy, along with GC and HPLC columns and other supplies. Labs keep chromatography and mass spectrometry systems in service for years, so parts and modules for earlier instrument series stay in demand.

Agilent's chemical analysis instruments came out of Hewlett-Packard in the 1999 spin-off, so older parts and manuals for the same instruments can carry the HP name.
