Whitey Needle Valves and Instrument Valves

Whitey is one of the brands Swagelok founder Fred A. Lennon brought into the Swagelok product line during the 1950s and 1960s, alongside Cajon, Nupro and Sno-Trik. Swagelok began in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1947 as the Crawford Fitting Company, focused its identity on the single Swagelok name in 1997, and is headquartered in Solon, Ohio.

Whitey Tool and Die Company joined the Swagelok family in 1958. A Whitey trademark filed in 1960, now in the name of Swagelok Company, covers micro-regulating, needle and fingertip control valves. Older Whitey valves stay in service in labs and plants built around Swagelok tube fittings, and a replacement is matched by the ordering number of the valve it replaces.
