Product Overview
Scientific Instrument Services built the Model 951 to run its cryo-trap, a small trap that liquid CO2 chills so volatile compounds collect in a tight band before they move on to the column. The controller meters the CO2, reads the trap temperature through a type K thermocouple, and switches a heater to release what was caught. A four-position selector picks Off, Cool, Auto or Heat, and a remote start input lets the run begin on a signal from another instrument.
