Product Overview
Turning a stream of logic pulses into a steady needle reading, the Canberra 1480 shows count rate in counts per second on a large analog meter. It plugs into a Nuclear Instrumentation Module (NIM) bin, smooths the reading with a selectable time constant, subtracts a set background, and sends a matching signal out the rear panel for a chart recorder or data logger.
