The 8386A model automatically calculates volumetric flow rate, dew point, wet bulb temperature, and heat flow. Data logging stores up to 1,394 samples across 275 test IDs, with logged data transferable to a computer via communication cable and TSI downloading software. The articulating probe bends to reach difficult duct locations. Velocity is measured using either the integrated thermal sensor or a Pitot tube connection. Power comes from four AA batteries or an optional AC adapter.
