Product Overview
Fluorescence work on a Leica stand needs an excitation source that sits off the microscope, and the EL6000 is that box. It runs a mercury metal halide bulb and feeds the microscope through a liquid light guide from the rear Fibre Optics Outlet, with a built-in shutter that cuts the excitation light within 6 milliseconds and an attenuator for lowering intensity on sensitive specimens.
