Product Overview
Princeton Gamma-Tech's 326A watches a detector's liquid nitrogen supply and fills it, so a germanium detector stays cold without someone standing by the dewar. It is a Nuclear Instrumentation Module (NIM) width module that sits in a NIM bin and takes AC power through its own cord. A second attached cord ends in a three-slot outlet. Fill status shows on Filling, Overflow Full and Detector Low lamps, and the Manual Fill and Stop Fill buttons let you override the automatic cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions
Has it been powered up?
Yes. It powers on and switches as expected.
Does it need NIM bin power?
No. It runs from AC through the attached cord with the three-prong plug.
Is the cryostat cable included?
Not included.
Will the cryostat cable from my old 326A plug into it?
Yes. The rear panel is marked Model 326A and carries the same round Amphenol Cryostat socket, so a cable made for a 326A mates with it. Flat-rate shipping in the lower 48, and orders over the free-shipping line ship free.
Germanium detectors only work cold, and liquid nitrogen keeps leaving. Hook this box to the dewar and stop setting alarms for the weekend fill.
