Product Overview
Weatherhead's 59020X16 takes a 1 inch Code 61 split flange port and turns the line 90 degrees to a -20 JIC 37 degree male flare, the size for 1-1/4 inch tube or hose. It steps the line up one size at the port and makes the turn in the same piece, which saves a reducer and an elbow where the space beside a pump is tight.
Key Features
- Flange end: Code 61 flange head, 1 inch size
- Tube end: -20 JIC 37 degree male flare for 1-1/4 inch tube, 1-5/8-12 thread
- 90 degree bent-tube body
- Low carbon steel with Dura-Kote plating
- Flange head 1.75 inches across
- Hex wrench flats behind the JIC threads
Applications
- Running a 1-1/4 inch suction or return line off a 1 inch Code 61 port at a right angle
- Replacing a damaged flange elbow on industrial or mobile hydraulics
- Removing a separate reducer and elbow from a cramped port
Frequently Asked Questions
Will it bolt to a Code 62 port of the same size?
No. This is a 1 inch Code 61 flange head. A 1 inch Code 62 port takes a thicker head on a wider bolt pattern, so the port and the clamp halves must both be Code 61.
Are the clamp halves and O-ring included?
Not included.
Why is the flange end smaller than the JIC end?
The X16 suffix marks the 1 inch flange on a fitting whose JIC end is the -20 size, so the line steps up to 1-1/4 inch tube as it leaves the port. The 1 inch Code 61 head measures 1.75 inches across, which tells it apart from the 1-1/4 inch head at 2 inches. Flat-rate shipping in the lower 48, and orders over the free-shipping line ship free.
Some lines need to get bigger and turn a corner at the same time, and this elbow does both in one move. Bolt it to the port and size the hose for the flow, not the flange.
