Product Overview

Weatherhead's 64520 is the 1-1/4 inch member of its Code 62 45 degree elbow adapters. The flange head clamps to a 1-1/4 inch Code 62 port with a split flange kit and O-ring, and the other end is a -20 JIC 37 degree male flare that takes a standard female swivel hose end. Big pumps and valves with flanged outlets get a 45 degree turn and an ordinary hose connection in one piece.

Key Features

  • Flange end: Code 62 flange head, 1-1/4 inch size
  • Tube end: -20 JIC 37 degree male flare, 1-5/8-12 thread
  • 45 degree bent-tube body
  • Hex wrench flats behind the JIC threads

Applications

  • Turning a 1-1/4 inch pressure line 45 degrees off a Code 62 pump outlet
  • Replacing a worn 45 degree flange adapter on loaders, presses or power units
  • Fitting stock -20 JIC hose assemblies to a flanged valve block

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it bolt to a Code 61 port of the same size?

No. A 1-1/4 inch Code 62 flange head is thicker and uses a wider bolt pattern than a 1-1/4 inch Code 61 head, so the port and the clamp halves must both be Code 62.

Are the clamp halves, bolts and O-ring included?

Not included.

What hose end mates with the JIC side?

A -20 female JIC 37 degree swivel, the standard end on 1-1/4 inch hose assemblies. No special flanged hose end is needed. Flat-rate shipping in the lower 48, and orders over the free-shipping line ship free.

At 1-1/4 inch, a hose does not bend politely, so the bend lives in the steel instead. Put the angle here and let the hose run straight.
