Product Overview

The 64516 from Eaton's Weatherhead line takes a 1 inch Code 62 split flange port and bends the line 45 degrees to a -16 JIC 37 degree male flare. One fitting replaces a straight flange adapter plus a separate JIC elbow, which saves a joint and some length where the space around a pump is tight.

Key Features

  • Flange end: Code 62 flange head, 1 inch size
  • Tube end: -16 JIC 37 degree male flare, 1-5/16-12 thread
  • 45 degree bent-tube body
  • Hex wrench flats behind the JIC threads

Applications

  • Running a 1 inch pressure hose off a Code 62 pump outlet at 45 degrees
  • Replacing a damaged flange elbow on construction or ag equipment
  • Cutting one joint out of a straight adapter and elbow stack-up

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it bolt to a Code 61 port of the same size?

No. A 1 inch Code 62 flange head is thicker and uses a wider bolt pattern than a 1 inch Code 61 head, so the port and the clamp halves must both be Code 62.

Are the clamp halves, bolts and O-ring included?

Not included.

Why an elbow adapter instead of a straight adapter and a JIC elbow?

One piece means one less sealing joint and a shorter reach from the port. The -16 JIC end still takes a standard female swivel hose end. Flat-rate shipping in the lower 48, and orders over the free-shipping line ship free.

Every extra joint in a hydraulic line is one more place to look when the floor gets slick. This one turns the corner and keeps the count down, so bolt it on and move to the next port.
